How we do it.
On the coast, a storm can put a tree on the house in a few seconds. When that happens you need someone who answers the phone, not a voicemail. M&S answers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We get the weight off the roof or the vehicle first, then cut up and haul off what came down. And when a storm is on the way, call ahead: trees that could land on a house get priority before it rolls in.
We do this work in Portland, Taft, Gregory, Sinton, Odem, Calallen, Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Woodsboro, Corpus Christi, plus Refugio. Free estimates everywhere we go.

Do you really answer at night?
Yes, for emergencies. The phone is answered 24 hours a day, so if a tree is on your house, call. Regular trims and removals are scheduled during the day.
Can you help before a hurricane or a big storm?
Yes. Call early. Trees that could fall on a house get priority while there's still time.
Is a tree touching a power line something you handle?
Call the electric company first for any line that's down or sparking. Once the line is safe, we handle the tree.
What should I do first if a tree falls on my house?
Get everyone out of the damaged area, stay away from any downed lines and call the electric company if a line is involved. Then call us at (361) 548-4857, any hour. Take photos for your insurance company before anything is moved if you can do it safely.
Will my insurance pay for tree removal after a storm?
That depends on your policy and what the tree hit. We can't promise coverage, but we're glad to give you a written estimate for your insurance company.

Do you clean up after the tree is off the house?
Yes. Limbs are chipped, logs are hauled off and the yard is raked before we leave.
