Woodsboro and Refugio are the north end of the area we cover regularly, up in Refugio County with Copano Bay to the east and the Mission River winding past Refugio. Lots in both towns tend to be bigger, and so do the trees: big pecans and live oaks that have been growing for generations.

Big trees on big lots mean big limbs over roofs and driveways, and big trees coming down when they finally fail. When we come up, the bucket truck, chipper and chip truck come along so the whole job gets done and hauled off in one trip.

Outside of town it's ranch and farm land: brush on fence rows, mesquite in the pastures and dead trees around the house and barn. The skid steers can come too.
